What so great about Minneapolis you ask?

Eddie: What are the selling points of MPLS? Travis seems to think that the midwest is absolutely awful and it's on the bottom of his list of places to go. Help me out Leaballs.

Me: Oh boy...slap him for me. It's the top city for visual arts (he will try to argue that, but it's true). It's second only to NYC for theater and one of the cleanest and healthiest cities in the country (ranks higher than Portland). It's #1 for biking and the most gay friendly. Tons of successful fortune 500 companies (Target, General Mills, etc.) giving it an edge in the shitty economy. Best skyline EVER and more shoreline than California, Hawaii and Florida combined. Attractive people (Scandinavians), great local music scene (First Avenue) and amazing festivals and community events. Honestly the only downside is winter and being surrounded by the worst states ever. Tell him to stop affiliating Minneapolis with the rest of the midwest...unless of course he wants to snub his nose at Chicago too. Okay well that should do it!
